Technical Support Coordinator
The Technical Support Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager, IST Infrastructure, is accountable for ensuring that technical support for both external and internal end users is delivered in a professional, timely manner. Support primarily includes installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of workstations, servers, networking equipment and related applications. This position also needs to be available for out-of-hours systems support.
The ideal candidate has a post secondary degree/diploma in IT and a minimum of two years related experience with a focus on Helpdesk or Desktop Support in an IBM/Cisco hardware and Microsoft Windows O/S environment. The candidate also has experience with MS Active Directory administration, MS Office admin and configuration, LAN/WAN networking, and backup/recovery solutions. Familiarity with voicemail, telephone and data communications technology is an asset.
