Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) has a critical role in ensuring Threshold provides its clients with best-in-class service. This position is responsible for providing customer service to French and English-speaking merchants and cardholders in a 24/7, 365 day call centre environment.
As a member of the Support Centre team, this individual responds to incoming telephone calls and emails by opening trouble tickets and inquiries. CSR’s also monitor open tickets and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment using the tools and procedures provided. Shift times can vary. The successful candidate should be prepared to work days, evenings, nights or weekends on a rotating basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Resolving issues received from Threshold merchants, cardholders and sales representatives
- Monitoring and managing the progress of open trouble tickets
- Liaising with and directing communications providers, armoured car providers, third party installation providers and third party service providers as necessary
- Accurate and detailed record keeping of all trouble occurrences
The ideal candidate has:
- Exceptional customer service abilities and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- A demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
